This base is correct
for all M series jeeps and trucks from the M38A1 jeep to the HUMVEE. This
base unit will automatically tune to the proper band when used with a
radio that provides the tuning pulses, such as the RT-524 and RT-246,
(VRC-43, 46 etc.) as well as with the PRC-77 and PRC-25, when installed
in the AM-2060 amp/power supply. The base can also be used with any radio
in the 30 to 75 MHz band by manually rotating the switch on the bottom
to the proper band.
The antenna used with this base is the standard two section AS-1729 tapered fiberglass whip, (AS-1730 lower section and AT-1095 upper section).
These are USED bases that I have tested with my radio. As you can see the paint is scuffed, and scratched, and the id plate may be painted over, but there are no major dents or damage. Manufacturer and color may vary.
