I have a limited quantity of the famous PRC-25 squad radio that was used extensively in Viet Nam. These radios tune 30-75.95 MHz FM in bands 30-52.95 MHz (Lo) and 53-75.95 MHz (Hi) with 50 KHz spacing. RF power output: 1.1 to 2.0 watts; 150 Hz squelch. Transistorized except for a 2DF4 tube in power amp. For operation the radio requires 3 VDC 0.4 amp and 15 VDC 1.4 amp supplied by a battery (NOT INCLUDED) or the AM2060. The radios have contract dates anywhere from 1968 to 1974 and may have been used in Nam. Some of my customers remove the guts then add CB radios or tape recorders inside for use with reenactment groups or paintball parties. These radios were working when they were removed from service. The radios are complete except for modules A9 and A10. The radios are in good condition with no major dents or gashes but the paint may be chipped and scuffed. The insides are guaranteed to be clean and free of corrosion. There may be unit markings in black paint that is easily removed with lacquer thinner. Each radio is equipped with a battery box, but the paint on the box might not match the radio.
